Seal of Personal Finance
The Arizona Seal of Personal Finance program recognizes high school students who achieve a high level of proficiency in personal finance. The seal is placed on the student’s diploma and noted on the transcript.
Eligibility
- Complete all requirements during grades 9-12.
- Complete all social studies courses with an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale.
- Complete 1 activity from each of the 4 categories. (View drop downs below for further information.)
- Completion of an approved personal finance program (Curriculum)
- Participation in a co-curricular or extracurricular program (Outside of School)
- Completion of a college and/or career readiness
- Passage of an assessment of personal finance (Test)

Application WINDOW: from September 1 to May 22
Applications submitted after the March 6, 2026, due date are accepted, but may not have a diploma seal available for graduation. Students may still apply for a diploma seal until May 22, 2026.
