I am here to support you every step of the way on your journey towards academic success and to graduation. I encourage you to make the most of your time here. Your CEC experience will be what you make it, and your opportunities will only be limited by the limits you place on yourself. I will do my best to make this a positive learning environment for you.
My Education and Professional Background
My Educational Philosophy
Each student is unique and learns differently. As a teacher I believe that it is important to teach in a way that employs a variety of teaching strategies. Students should learn from each other and learn to work together through cooperative learning. The students need be active learners exploring concepts through hands on learning and communication. As a teacher I need to apply concepts at a high-order thinking level to help them understand and use the information throughout their life.
