Parents and students are invited to SJHS to attend our 6th Grade Orientation Tuesday evening.
Highlights include presentations from the SJHS adminstrative team, teacher introductions, information about curriculum, athletics, and registration, as well as tours by the NJHS students, performances by the Cheer Team, Choir, and Band. On Tuesday February 6th, 2018 we will be hosting our annual multicultural assembly in our gymnasium from 9:15am – 10:20am. We are looking to highlighting different cultures. We are asking if anyone is interested in performing, or knows someone, possibly a former student, who would like to perform either a song or dance or something that symbolizes their heritage or culture during the assembly. Please contact Mr. Morgan at 480-883-4612 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.

Please click on this link to see the schedule for semester finals. Comprehensive finals will be given at the end of each semester. Finals will be averaged into the students’ grade at the end of the semester with a 10% weight. If students are absent for their finasl, they will have a choice to take them at specified times upon their return. If a student chooses not to make up the examination once missed, it will be counted as a zero. Once the final has been made up, the new grade will be reflected in Infinite Campus.
SRP's Support for Education team visited Santan to see how Mrs. Olson's Project Lead the Way classes work.
Dear Santan Parents and Guardians, thank you for your feedback on our school survey! Please click here to view the results of the Parent Survey from May.
To ensure all students' safety, please note the following changes to Santan's flow of traffic for student drop off/pick up. Both Elementary and Jr. High students are to be dropped off and picked up in the west parking lot by the schools' front offices. Please pull past the crosswalk and wait to drop off/pick up your children on the north side of the crosswalk. Do not drop off/pick up your child on the south side of the crosswalk before you reach the crossing guard. Also, the horseshoe bus parking lot on the southeast side of the school is for school buses only, even when there are no school buses there. Students who participate in before and after school events should be dropped off and picked up in the west parking lot, not the bus parking lot. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe.
AzMERIT Reports for current 8th graders will be available during Stormin' Day and will also be distributed at lunch during the first week of school. Current 7th grade students's results will be mailed from their former elementary school. Last year’s 8th grade students, who are now Freshmen, will have their reports mailed home, too.
