    Welcome!

    Hi There! My name is Ms. Cassie Ramirez. I am so happy to be the counselor here at Chandler Early College. YAY!

    My Education and Professional Background

    • I attended Chandler Gilbert Community College myself! I received my Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts with a certificate in Criminal Justice from CGCC. 
    • I received my BA degree from Arizona State University in Psychology with a minor in Criminology.
    • I received my MS degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I plan to also receive a post-master of Science in Childhood and Adolescent disorders.
    • I have previously worked in the mental health field and also hold a license for associate counselor from the AZ State Board of Behavioral Health. This is my 2nd year as a school counselor, and I am looking forward to continuing to learn in the field and assist students with my background experiences. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I truly believe in Chandler Early College's philosophy. I feel every student has an opportunity to succeed and grow with their education at CEC.

    My philosophy is supporting, empowering, and encouraging self-advocacy with students. I believe that when assisting students in school, a safe place for students, they will thrive both in their education and their lives.
