Welcome to 6th grade ELA, 7th grade Honors English, and 8th grade Honors English. I am thrilled to be part of the amazing faculty at Elite Performance Academy. I am looking forward to a great year! EPA sixth grade ELA and Honors English courses engage students in an advanced level of language arts study. Students will refine reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking skills through the exploration of inspiring and challenging literature.

My Educational Philosophy
My mission is to motivate students and teach strategies that encourage them to be life-long learners. I recognize that all students are individuals with diverse learning styles, and believe in holding high expectations. I design my classes to be highly engaging with rigorous standards. I emphasize that each student has something unique to offer. Our class is enhanced when everyone participates and contributes ideas. Respect and kindness are essential character traits required for each student I teach.
