About
Morse...
Welcome to fourth grade! I'm so excited to be teaching your kiddo and I look forward to a fantastic year full of community, learning, and fun.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated with a B.A. in Education from Clarke University in 2000 and earned a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University in 2008. I started my teaching career in 2000 and have been teaching in the Chandler Unified School District since 2006, teaching 4th and 6th grade.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that all students can learn! It is my goal as an educator to help cultivate students' strengths and provide opportunities for growth in areas of weakness. I believe students need feedback to grow, as a result it is essential to communicate with both students and parents. It is also equally important to build a supportive classroom community, so students feel comfortable to take risks and where mistakes are viewed as opportunities to learn and grow.
