Welcome to Miss. P's Preschool class! I am looking forward to meeting you all. I know that we are going to have an exciting year learning about so many new things!
My Education and Professional Background
I attended the University of Phoenix and earned a Bachelors Degree in Health Care Administration and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with an SEI Endorsement.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that all children have the innate ability to learn, and it is my responsibility to identify the best method to teach each student. I recognize that children have distinctive learning and developmental needs, and I believe that effective teaching is tailored to meet the needs of each child. In order to do this, I will use my knowledgeable of child development and my understanding of children's individual needs and abilities to create a healthy, respectful, supportive, and challengin I believe that the goal of early childhood education is to support and advance children's development by educating the whole child. When teaching today's youth I will construct unique and diverse curricula, which challenges children; while taking into consideration learning styles, disabilities, interests, developmental needs, home environment, community, and culture.
