    I am excited to be the Math Coach at Galveston Elementary!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I began working in the Chandler Unified School District as a teacher's aide at Frye Elementary. I completed my student teaching at Galveston Elementary in 2006 and have been teaching here ever since. Arizona State University is where I received my degree in Elementary Education, then I received a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University. I have a full Structured English Immersion (SEI) and K-8 Mathematics endorsement. I am also highly qualified in the Middle Grades Mathematics 6-8 subject area.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that students best learn by being involved in the discovery of new concepts and ideas.
