    Welcome to my webpage. I am the library teacher here at Galveston. I am also in charge of Battle of the Books, Spelling Bee, and Art Club. If you have questions relating to these areas, you are in the right place! Please look around my page. You will find many useful links and resources. I am here to help any way I can.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I am an Arizona native. I graduated from Wickenburg High School. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Tourism/Recreation from ASU. I have a Post-Bac in Elementary Education from ASU. I have a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from NAU. I also have my Library Media Specialist endorsement from NES.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe it is the job of every teacher to provide a safe learning environment for all students. In my classroom, I try very hard to make everyone feel special. We all have different learning styles and different needs, and it is my goal to make sure these needs are met every day. I want my students to look forward to coming into the library and exploring all of the amazing books we have.
