About
Lim...
Welcome! My name is Ms. Lim and I am excited to join the Chandler Unified School District. It's going to be a great year and fun to work with you all. Be ready to learn as we explore the world of orchestral music.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Music Education with an emphasis in strings. During those years I was involved in the ASU symphony, small chamber ensembles, and performed solo recitals. I was also involved in The String Project of ASU where I taught both private lessons and classes. Before CUSD, I worked two years in the Kyrene District as a middle school Orchestra and Guitar director.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that everyone is capable and that we can accomplish goals if we fix our minds to it, especially in music. I love music and strive to inspire others to appreciate it too. Music can teach a child discipline, patience, team work, eye-hand coordination, and it can build a strong character. Music is truly universal and being involved musically can be a great way to be a part of the musical world around us.
