About Mrs. Lauren Glessner...
Position: 6th grade teacher
Yes, you CAN do math!!! All it takes is a little- maybe a lot of- perseverance. Please don't give up and say you can't do it. If you have a problem that you can't solve, there is something out there to help you. I, too, was once a hater of math. But practice always makes better, and now it's a passion of mine.
My Education and Professional Background

My Educational Philosophy
My philosophy includes the adage that math is not evil and horrible. There are way worse things than math in this world! It is all around us and is absolutely necessary for people to be literate in math as they are in language in order to function in today's society. People need to embrace math and find different ways to make it make sense. Once it clicks, you're hooked! I intend to teach math as long as I teach; and as long as I teach, it will be math.
