About
Rader...
Welcome new 5th Grade Rhinos. I am Mrs. Cari Rader. I am so excited to be your teacher this year and lead our "crash". My family is originally from southern California. My husband and I moved to Gilbert in 2005. We have two teenaged boys. Jackson and Cash both attend Casteel High school. I love being part of the community where I teach.
My Education and Professional Background
I attended college in Las Vegas. While earning my degree in Psychology from UNLV I really reflected on all the great teachers I had in my own life. My passion for learning drove me to want to teach elementary school. I wanted to make an impact and make a difference the way my second-grade teacher and my 10th grade English teacher had done for me. After moving back to California I began an intense intern program and obtained my teaching credential! I have taught 3-5th grades. I still love learning and teaching after all these years.
My Educational Philosophy
My goal is to encourage your children to be life-long learners. I want them to establish a love for reading and be successful problem solvers. More importantly, I want them to grow as individuals with integrity. I hope they come home happy and excited to share each day.
