About
Ream...
Hello! My name is Cynthia Ream and I am thrilled to be your teacher this year! I am eager to get to know each and every one of you, as we venture through the journey of 4th grade together. I grew up in State College, PA and went to The Pennsylvania State University. I have lived in Arizona since 2001. I am married and we have three funny chihuahuas Lyla, Tucker and Blue.
My Education and Professional Background
I have been teaching since 2004. Throughout my teaching career I have taught Kindergarten, first, second and fourth grades. I have a Masters of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Art History from The Pennsylvania State University .
My Educational Philosophy
In my classroom, I believe that all students can learn. I strive each day to teach my students new and exciting skills. I love working with children and enjoy seeing that light shine in their eyes once they realize they grasped a new skill. My goal is to create a safe, caring, and motivating environment in the classroom. I believe that education is not only about academics, but also about teaching my students to be respectful, responsible, and caring citizens.
