About
Franzen...
Welcome to Third Grade! My name is Aimee Franzen and I could not be more delighted to be your child's teacher this year. I am originally from Indiana and moved to Arizona in 2012. My husband and I, and our four boys love to camp and do anything outdoors! I am also a HUGE Harry Potter fan! I just know that we are going to have a fantastic year getting to know each other and growing together. Let the magic begin!
My Education and Professional Background
As long as I can remember, I always wanted to be a teacher. The teachers and experiences that I had in elementary school paved my way towards education. In 2005, I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Indiana University. Then, I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home and raise my four boys. After moving from Indiana to Arizona in 2012, I decided to get back into my profession as a teacher.
My Educational Philosophy
My goal is to instill a lifelong passion for learning by creating a safe, caring, and challenging environment for your child. I believe that the key to academic and social success starts by building a relationship with your student and their families. I look forward to working alongside you to make sure your child has a successful year!
