Welcome!

My name is Tyler Morris and I have been teaching in Chandler schools since 2009. I grew up in Colorado, but after graduating I came to Arizona to do my student teaching. While here, I met my wife, Jackie, so my previous plans to leave the desert were quickly changed when we got married in 2008. We have three fantastic children, Malia, Dexter, and Holden.

My Education and Professional Background

I graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho with a Bachelor's Degree in 2008. Since then, I taught 2nd grade for 7 years, and Technology since 2017. I love teaching and can't imagine a better way to spend a day.

My Educational Philosophy

I believe every student needs to have a chance to shine in their own way. I push to allow all forms of art, talents, and skills to be demonstrated in my lessons.

My Education and Professional Background

I have been fortunate to be a teacher in this district since 2006. Singing has been a passion of mine since I was very young. My performing has afforded me many fun experiences including musical theater, recitals, performing abroad, singing with orchestras, and recording. I even got to perform in an Opera in Rome! I graduated from Arizona State University in May of 2003 with Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance. Because I greatly enjoyed teaching private music lessons, I decided a year later to go back to ASU to pursue music education. In 2006 I received my music education certification. Becoming a music teacher is one of the best decisions I have ever made. This is the perfect job for me!

My Educational Philosophy

In order to enjoy life to the fullest, we must experience new things and learn. In order to learn, education must be enjoyable.
