Welcome to Second Grade with Ms. McBlane!
My Education and Professional Background
Welcome, my name is Christina McBlane and I have taught second grade since 2002. I received my bachelors at Arizona State University in 2000, and have also taken many professional growth classes through the Chandler district. I began by subbing in all grades K-12th and was hired at Weinberg in 2002 as a second grade teacher. I have been at Weinberg ever since and really enjoy the school and community. I feel a dedication to this community as I grew up just south of the school in the Queen Creek area. I have a beautiful daughter who also attends Rice Elmentary as well.
My Educational Philosophy
I love teaching and watching students light bulbs turn on with every I got it moment ! I believe that children need a positive learning environment where they can love learning and find success. In addition I am dedicated to giving me best and adjusting my teaching so that every child can learn. In addition, I also believe that my students need to know that I believe in them and that they are capable. I'm so excited to start a new year full of new memories and adventures.
