• Dear Humphrey Families:

Below is some important information I would like to make you aware of as we head into our final month of first quarter!

If you need to drop your child off at school before 7:45 a.m. or need to pick him or her up after 2:40 p.m., then you may want to consider enrolling your child in our Kid’s Express program.  You can learn more about this program by visiting www.CUSDcommunity.com, or by calling our Kid’s Express office at 480-224-3900.

If you are interested in volunteering at Humphrey, there are many opportunities to do so.  You do not have to be available during the school day to be involved!  To find out more information about volunteering, please contact your child’s teacher, ask our front office staff for PTO contact information, or visit our school website.  Below are just a few ways you can become involved in your child’s education…

    1. Volunteer in your child’s classroom during the school day by making copies, listening to students read, or helping with Art Masterpiece.
    2. Become involved in our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO).
    3. Volunteer your time after school by offering to assist with an after school club.
    4. Read with your child each night!  If you are in need of books to read, please contact me or your child’s teacher.

To help keep our students and community safe, please follow these guidelines while going to and from school each day…

    • Please use the crosswalks to cross streets and parking lots!
    • Please drop-off and pick-up students in the South Parking Lot ONLY!  Do not use Bus Lane!
    • DO NOT pass other cars, while in the parking lot!
    • If your student rides the bus, please encourage him or her to follow the rules and directions of the driver.  Failure to do so may result in bus suspensions!

I hope to see you all at parent/ teacher conferences on September 27th and 28th!  Have a wonderful September!

    Sincerely,

    Luke Hickey
