Congratulations to Gracie Orozco, who will represent Galveston as one of Scruffy's Tuffy's at the Chandler High football game on September 27, 2019. Si Se Puede will be sponsoring a Chess Club here at Galveston. Beginning Thursday, October 24th. After school - 2:45-4:00! This club will be available to all 4th-6th Graders. Fee will be $10.00.
ALL SECOND GRADE PARENTS: please support your child and join us for a night of data sharing. Teachers and coaches will share information and give you strategies to take home so you can help your child succeed at school. It will be held in the Library (Media Center). We will begin promptly at 5:15 and finish by 6:30. This is a great opportunity for you to be involved in your student's education. We hope to see you there.
We are continuing the tradition of showing our Galveston Pride. Students may wear their "Galveston Pride is Deep Inside" shirt (with uniform pants/shorts/skirts) the first Friday of every month. If you don't have one yet, stay tuned. Student Council will be selling them after October break!
