    Welcome to CTA Goodman! I can’t wait to meet you and I look forward to fulfilling my role in fostering a passion for learning and collaboration. I hope your child has a phenomenal educational experience here at CTA Goodman.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I attended both Arizona State University and University of South Carolina for my undergrad and interned/student taught in 3rd-5th grade classrooms. I continued on to earn my Graduate Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from Grand Canyon University. I started my teaching career here in Chandler at Haley Elementary and taught 6th grade for several years, prior to becoming an administrator. I believe in the importance of being a life-long learner and inspiring students to take every opportunity as a learning experience. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    One of my goals each year is to create and maintain high expectations, accountability, and mutual respect both within and outside of the classroom. Students tend to thrive when they feel as though their opinions are valued, their voices are heard, and they are given mutual respect. I pride myself in creating an environment in which students feel comfortable taking risks and learning through experience, and understand the value of perseverance and developing problem-solving skills.
