About
Ray...
My name is Kim Ray. I have been teaching at Frye since 2005. Students that receive special education services with resource support are serviced in the general education classroom, in the resource classroom, or a combination of both. Students receive services based on the individual needs and goals of each student. Although we provide services to students within specific grade levels, our philosophy is needs-based and we work as a team in order to provide the most appropriate level of support.
My Education and Professional Background
I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Special Education K-12, Arizona State University, a Master of Education Degree in School Guidance Counseling K-12, Grand Canyon University. I also have a Structured English Immersion Endorsement
My Educational Philosophy
I believe in lifelong learning and leading by example in the classroom and will strive to be a strong, positive role model and to create a warm, welcoming, accepting and safe environment for students. By setting high expectations and providing all students differentiated engaging instruction, all students can succeed.
