My name is Luz Lozano. This is my first year at Frye Elementary. Students who receive special education services with resource support are serviced in the general education classroom, special education classroom, or a combination of both. Students receive services based on individual needs and goals. Resource works with all grade levels and collaborated between a wonderful team who work together to provide the appropriate supports for the students.
My Education and Professional Background
I received my Associate in Art from Chandler-Gilbert Community College. I then transferred to Arizona State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education, majoring in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education in K-3. I am now working on my masters at Arizona State University for the ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) program.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe in teaching from the heart and being a leader to my students. I want to show them that, teaching them brings me joy to my role. Being able to be the leader they look up to, who believes in their educational journey. No matter the journey or obstacle that comes along, I want my students to strive for their future by being that influence in their life.
