    Welcome!

    Hi! I am Mrs. Miller and I have been working in the Chandler Unified School District since 2002. I taught 1st grade here at Frye Elementary for three years, then after receiving my Reading Endorsement and Master's Degree, I began working in the Frye Reading Lab as a Reading Specialist in 2006. In my free time I enjoy camping, swimming, bike riding, watching football and spending time with my husband Brook, daughter Aubrey and two dogs, Nala and Max!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Arizona State University in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Then, in 2007, I earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University. I also have several additional certifications, including a Reading Endorsement, an Early Childhood Education Endorsement and an English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I strongly believe each student should be given the opportunity to grow and succeed in a caring, safe and challenging environment. I have a passion for reading and look forward to getting my students excited about reading! I thoroughly enjoy teaching and feel privileged to be a part of a wonderful school like Frye Elementary.
