Frye Elementary Preschool
Frye Elementary preschool is a FREE FULL DAY program for students who live in the boundaries of the school.
The Title I preschool programs are funded through Federal and State funds, and are free to Chandler residents who live within the Frye Elementary school boundary. Our curriculum is designed to build a child’s healthy self-concept and positive attitude toward school and learning. Children develop concrete skills through experiences with music, art, storytelling, and teacher-directed lessons that, in addition to skills development emphasize practice and reflection. Title I Preschool teachers are certified and staffed with an assistant. Class size is limited to 20 students with a 10:1 student/teacher ratio.
To be eligible, children must be four years old by August 31 of the current school year. Parents of eligible children are required to complete a registration packet and meet all immunization requirements before the child may attend their first day of preschool. Children need to be toilet trained to attend preschool. At time of registration please bring an original birth certificate, current immunization records, and proof of residence to the location that you want your child to attend.
Curriculum used: Big Day, Fundations (Writing and Phonics), Lexia (Reading and Phonics), Origo Slate (math), Echoes (science), Starfall.
