Welcome!

My name is Lisa Clayton and I am the Special Education Teacher for grades K-4 for Frye Elementary. I have been teaching since 2010 and I am very excited about the upcoming year at such a great school!

My Education and Professional Background

I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administrative Management from Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania, and a Masters of Education in Special Education from North Central University. I have worked with students identified as having a specific learning disability, emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, developmental delay, autism and other health impairments. I have worked in a Resource setting for students with learning disabilities as well as self-contained settings for students with emotional disabilities.

My Educational Philosophy

It is my goal as a Special Education Teacher to help students reach their fullest potential by providing them with every opportunity possible.
