Homework Policies
*All assignments not finished in class will be sent home for homework.
*Students will also be expected to complete nightly reading (20 minutes per evening). Students will record the minutes in their daily agendas.
*Students will be assigned nightly math homework, consisting of 10 problems. A great portion of the 10 problems students should be able to complete on their own. There will be problems on their homework, however, containing skills they may not have been exposed to yet. Students will not be held responsible for completing these problems and if they are unable to do so, they won't lose points, credit or have a consequence issued. However, I do encourage students to attempt these problems, either by utilizing their own strategy, asking a parent or sibling or using an available resource. This will help them to become more familiar with the material and then when we learn it in class, it will be easier for them to grasp.
