    Welcome!

    Hi, my name is Mrs. Klier. I am honored to be teaching your child this year. We will work together as a team to make this school year successful for your child.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I've been teaching for almost 25 years. Previously, I've taught second, kindergarten, special education, and first grade. This will be my second year teaching the first grade Top program.  I attended Eastern Illinois University and received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I also have an endorsement in special education and early childhood.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My philosophy in teaching is to promote life long learners. I've been told in the past, that my teaching style is firm but very loving and nurturing. I set high standards for my students as well as for myself. I like structure and routine.
