    Welcome!

    Hello and welcome to 4th Grade. I am Ms. Roberts and I am beyond excited for all of the amazing learning that will take place this year. Teaching is a dream come true for me and I am so lucky that I get to live that dream everyday!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated summa cum laude from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. After graduation, I started teaching in the Roosevelt School District, where I stayed for 4 years. During my time in the Roosevelt District, I had the honor of coaching a cheer team and teaching dance classes and taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade before moving here to Hartford. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I am certain of the fact that ALL students have the capacity to make a positive difference in this world and that my job as a teacher is to equip them with the tools they will need in order to make that difference. I know that all students learn differently and that, as their teacher, I must make everything I teach accessible for every child. In order to teach a child, you must first understand who they are. I strive to build relationships with my students and shape a safe, respectful, and equitable classroom culture for all who come through the door of room 24.
