    Welcome to kindergarten! My name is Jodi Hawthorne and I am excited to be teaching kindergarten at Haley. I absolutely love kindergarten and Haley! I am looking forward to a great year full of learning and fun! Thank you for allowing me to spend my days with your little ones!

    My Education and Professional Background

    Wow, I cannot believe that I have been teaching since 20ll! Time really does fly when you're having fun! I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2010 with a degree in early childhood education. I have been teaching kindergarten since 2013. Previously, I taught kindercademy at Haley and student taught here as well. Haley is an amazing school and I'm happy to be a part of it!

    My Educational Philosophy

    Early childhood is my passion! My goal for each child is to develop a love for learning while they are young that will continue with them for the rest of their lives. I believe that what happens in the classroom will affect their futures and I am incredibly excited that I am able to be a part of that. This year we will build a positive classroom community and work together to challenge each other academically. Together, we can make your child's year the best it can be!
