    Welcome Letter from Dr. Padilla


    Dear Bologna Families,   

    Welcome to Bologna Elementary, Home of The Dual Language Immersion Program in Spanish starting in Kindergarten & 1st Grades! 

    We are also a thriving PBIS Schoool (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) which provides structure to our school environment so that our students recieve an intellectually and academically challenging experience at school.  I am very proud of the strong relationships and skills our students are learning through our social and emotional curriculum called Caring School Community. These programs mentioned above paired with high quality instruction from a dedicated school staff is a recipie for a wonderful school environment for our students at Bologna Elementary! 

    My love for learning has resulted in a Doctorate Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University, and Endorsements in Reading and Administration and Supervision. This is my 11th year in School Administration in Chandler Unified School District and it is an honor to work alongside a community that I have been a part of as a Native Arizonian.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to learn about new cultures, especially where I can sample delicious cuisine.  

    At Bologna, our focus is celebrating the strengths of our students and empowering them through education.  Most importantly, we value the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and talents that our community brings to school each day.  The Bologna Staff and I are committed to grow our students' brilliance through our school's core values of Optimism, Collaboration, and Dedication.
