    Welcome!

    I am honored and excited to be your new principal and eager to meet and get to know all of you. I am originally from Southern California and grew up in Los Angeles. I have two young adult sons who always push me to be the best version of myself. When I need to relax and unwind, I enjoy yoga, hiking, cooking, traveling, and reading; always searching for new experiences that fuel my passion for learning.
    I look forward to getting to know all of you and hearing your stories and hopes for the future of Rudy G. Bologna Elementary.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have been a dedicated educator for more than 16 years, serving students from pre-Kindergarten through 7th grade. My previous experiences as Assistant Principal, Title I Coordinator, and teaching positions across several states, along with a master's degree in Educational Administration and Elementary Curriculum and Instruction, a bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development, and a Bilingual and S.E.I. certification have thus far helped shape my "why"; to motivate, educate, and empower all students.

    I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a safe, welcoming, inclusive environment that fosters independence, critical thinking, and a growth mindset. In partnership with our families, Bologna Elementary teachers and staff provide our students with an education and a school experience that sets them up for a successful future.
