• We welcome family members and the community to learn more about what is going on at our school in order to help us celebrate learning.  
    1st Quarter
    Annual Title 1 Meeting-
    Come learn about Title 1 funding and the programs that we can offer your child. 
    Curriculum Night-
    Come learn about what your child will be learning this years, ways to support your child and important classroom information.
     2nd Quarter
    Lunch with Veterans & military members.  Letters to the Troops.  
    3rd Quarter 
    Math & Science Night-
    Enjoy and evening of math games and science activities for the whole family.  Classroom and students' science fair projects will also be displayed for families to view.  This is a fun night for the whole family. 
    Read Across America & Family STEM Night-
    Join Hartford in celebrating hands-on STEM activities related to Dr. Seuss' legacy.  Guest readers, special events, and contests will take place all week for everyone to enjoy.  
    Leadership Day-
    We will showcase the Leader in Me at our school through a leadership day.  Dignitaries, non-profits and community partners will be invited to see our various student leadership opportunities.   
    4th Quarter
    Leadership and Character-
    Come celebrate Day of the Child with hands-on STEM and literacy activities as we celebrate our children.
    Read On Chandler-
    Early literacy fair for birth-5. Learn ways to support your child in early literacy.  
    Kids Take Over the School-
    Watch out as kids take over the school!  This fun day gives students the opportunity to assume the role of various staff members.  
    Monthly family math classes-
    See your child's teacher for information about the monthly math class. Come and learn ways to support your child in math.
    Parent classes in our parent resource center-
    Contact Mrs. Garcia, Parent Liaison for information about upcoming classes. Classes include: Leader in Me, Technology, ESL, literacy at home, etc.
    Quarterly student incentive activities- 
    Staff versus sixth grade flag football, Knockerball, Field Day, the Marshmellow challenge or the shaving cream attack, students earn a special treat at the end of the quarter. Fun is had by all!
