    Welcome!

    Welcome to 5th Grade! I am excited to work with you and help your child grow and reach their goals. I grew up in Southern California and moved to Arizona in 2020 with my husband and two boys, Henry & Luke. We spend most of our time playing outside, dancing and singing to our favorite music, and cheering on our favorite sports teams.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from the University of La Verne in 2009. I went on to earn my Masters in Education from University of La Verne in 2011. Since graduating, I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 5th, & 6th grade.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe all students are capable of meaningful learning. Their desire to learn is what drives my passion for teaching. It is my responsibility to create an environment where students feel comfortable to take chances, ask questions, and make connections to the world around them. When this happens, purposeful and worthwhile learning occurs. I also strongly believe in teaching students to be problem solvers and how to make smart choices while showing respect and integrity for themselves and others.
