    Hello and welcome to Jacobson Elementary! My name is Mrs. Ashley Moon. I am a CUSD alumna and graduated from Perry High School before attending Northern Arizona University. I can testify that Chandler Unified is a wonderful place to be! You have landed in a great spot and I cannot wait to be a part of your educational journey.

    My Education and Professional Background

    At Northern Arizona University, I received my BA in Elementary Education (K-8), BS in Special Education (K-12), MEd in School Counseling (K-12), and obtained my certificate as a National Board Certified Counselor. Throughout my career in Chandler, I have taught at both elementary and high school levels.

    My Educational Philosophy

    With the ever-changing challenges that students encounter, a school counselor works alongside with students to help remove those barriers to support their educational journey. School counselors provide a comprehensive program that addresses academic, career, and personal/social development of all students.
