    Welcome!

    Hello, welcome to 4th Grade! My name is Taryn Huston and I am thrilled to be your child's 4th grade teacher. I was born and raised in Arizona and love it here! When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and spending time outdoors (when it's nice out of course).

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Arizona State University (GO DEVILS!) in December 2017 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education.This is my 6th year as a Jacobson Jet and I am so blessed to be part of such a great community. I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us!

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goal as an educator is to have a classroom environment where all students are held to high expectations in everything they do. Also, building strong relationships within our classroom community will not only make them successful, but it will prepare them for life lessons. My goal is for students to love learning and to have fun while doing it. I hope to create life-long memories with my students in the classroom while taking this journey through 4th grade together!
