    Welcome to Jacobson! I love teaching music, and I am so excited to share this experience with you! When I’m not busy making music, I enjoy hiking, reading, and spending time with my family.



    My Education and Professional Background

    I have been teaching here at Jacobson since 2014, after graduating from the University of Michigan in 2013 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. I continue to grow as a musician by being a member of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, as well as playing the flute in the Scottsdale Concert Band.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn music. My classroom will be a positive, safe place for kids to explore new things. We sing, dance, play instruments, and have fun! I want my students to have a greater appreciation for music, but more than anything, I want them to be proud of who they are and what they accomplish!
