    Welcome to Kindergarten! I am thrilled to be working with you as your child begins their educational journey. Kindergarten is a year of tremendous educational and social emotional growth. Please check my website for updates throughout the year.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my degree in Education in 1994 from Arizona State University. In 2001, I received a Master's Degree in Education from Northern Arizona. I have also received my Early Childhood and English as a Second Language Endorsements. I have taught Kindergarten, Gifted Kindergarten, and Third grade.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that children learn best in a safe, nurturing environment. Children thrive in classrooms where they feel comfortable to try new things, to take risks, to ask questions, and to express themselves. My goal is to make your child's Kindergarten year successful and productive through hands-on, engaging activities that build a love of learning. I believe open communication between the teacher and parents helps create the best learning for children.
