Mazariegos...
Welcome to Mrs. Mazariegos' Room 28.
My Education and Professional Background
I am an Arizona native from the Yuma area. I have lived in the Phoenix Metro area since 1993. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Design and Post-Bac in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. Go Devils!!!In 2012, I received my Master of Education in Elementary Ed. from Northern Arizona University. It is an honor to be part of the Hartford Sylvia Encinas staff & community!
My Educational Philosophy
This is my 15th year teaching in elementary schools. I enjoy teaching young minds to explore, question and ponder new ideas as they learn in all academic areas. I have high expectations for student behavior and learning. I enjoy reading whole-group read-alouds that expose my students to new worlds and different perspectives. Also, students are encourage to take on various leadership roles, both in class and school-wide as they review and use the 7 Habits of Happy Kids at school.
