    Welcome to Mrs. Benton's fourth grade class! I am so excited to work with you and your child throughout this upcoming school year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I am an Arizona native and graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a minor in Spanish in 2013. I earned my master's degree in educational leadership through NAU in 2019. I began teaching in an inner city school in Phoenix. I joined CUSD and the Basha team in 2015. In October 2016, I was awarded the Husband and Wife Law Team Teacher of the Month award, through their Teacher Appreciation program. I am thrilled to be part of the best school district in Arizona, Chandler Unified School District! I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, as children are the future of our world. As a life-long learner myself, it is my true passion to model my love of learning to set every child up for a successful educational career.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I strongly believe that parents and teachers must work together as a team to ensure the success of every child. With high expectations held, each child is able to reach their full potential.
