    Welcome!

    Welcome to a new year at Basha Elementary. I am excited to begin a new year with you! I am an Arizona native. I was born and raised in Bullhead City, Arizona. I lived in Tucson, Arizona while I attended the University of Arizona. I moved to Chandler in 1995 and began teaching kindergarten shortly after. I taught kindergarten for (12) years before looping with one of my classes to first grade where I remained for 8 more years. Eventually, I added Second grade to my list of favorites.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I am a reading specialist and have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a special certificate for English Language Learners and Early Childhood. I have been teaching at Basha Elementary since 2003.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goal in this class is to create a lifelong love of learning in every student. I hope to make school a safe, fun, learning environment that children want to be a part of everyday.
