About
Pasero...
Welcome to technology! Students are going to have an amazing time growing their critical thinking skills, practicing perseverance, and collaborating with others in the lab. We won't just be using technology, but we'll be learning the foundation of computer science. I am looking forward to a school year full of learning and fun!
My Education and Professional Background
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University in 2004. A few years later, I returned to school to pursue my passion and earned my Master’s Degree in Education. I have experience as a reading interventionist in Kindergarten - 4th grade, in addition to teaching grades 3 - 5. I have been teaching at Auxier since 2016 and love being a part of this amazing community.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that all children are unique individuals who are capable of developing to their greatest potential. It is my goal to provide all students with experiences that will nurture the development of responsible, caring, and self-motivated learners. I will foster a supportive and respectful classroom where students feel safe taking risks, knowing that making mistakes is an important part of the learning process. Finally, I believe in the importance of working together as a team to promote student success and look forward to partnering with you this year.
