• Classic and CTA

Students At Auxier Elementary, families have the option of having students in one of two very unique programs. One is Classic Auxier, and the other is CTA Auxier.

Classic Auxier is just what you think -- classic education -- the way it is taught in most Chandler schools. Students are challenged to learn all their district, state, and federal standards, in a fun, safe environment, by our highly experienced staff.

CTA Auxier is a popular CUSD program, also named Chandler Traditional Academy. In CTA Auxier, students will be taught in a more "traditional" format. Classroom seating is arranged in rows facing a teacher with much more teacher-directed learning. Students will be instructed using Spalding and Saxon materials.

Students Chandler Unified has 9 sites that offer the CTA program: Auxier Elementary, Carlson Elementary, CTA Goodman, CTA Liberty, CTA Humphrey, CTA Independence, Patterson Elementary, and Weinberg Elementary.

    • At CTA Goodman, CTA Liberty, CTA Freedom, CTA Humphrey and CTA Independence, the entire school uses the CTA model.  (In addition to the schoolwide CTA model, the Elite Performance Academy program option is located on the CTA Humphrey campus, providing a personalized education program for 3rd-8th grade student athletes who compete at a high level of activities outside of the school day.)

    • At Auxier, Carlson, Patterson and Weinberg elementary schools, CTA is coupled on the same campus with the Classic model, allowing parents the choices (CTA or Classic) they need to help each individual child reach their fullest potential.
