Welcome to second grade! I look forward to getting to know your child. Together we will make this a fantastic year of learning and growth.

My Education and Professional Background

I have a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University. I began working in education over 20 years ago. I have had the privilege of being a substitute, teaching kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade.

My Educational Philosophy

I firmly believe that all children will learn in a nurturing environment that makes them feel safe while challenging them to take learning risks. I work very hard to create a classroom where diversity is respected and children feel valued as important contributing members of our school family.
