About
Williams...
Welcome to Mrs. Williams' class! I hope you find all the information you are looking for about our classroom. If you need any help please feel free to contact me.
My Education and Professional Background
I truly love what I do! I have my masters in education with a full ESL endorsement. I have been teaching since 2003. My first teaching years were in the Tempe and Laveen school districts where I taught first grade and then second grade. In 2008 I joined the Chandler district. While at Navarrete Elementary School I taught half day general music/ELD pullout for two years and third grade for 4 years. In 2014 I joined Andersen Elementary teaching 3rd grade. I feel grateful to be a part of the Andersen community!
My Educational Philosophy
In my classroom you will find a passion for reading, engaging math activities, and a thirst for learning new concepts in science and social studies. I believe that every child has the potential for academic success. My classroom is a place where students feel safe and comfortable taking risks and learning from their mistakes. Students will learn through exploration, class discussions, observations, and independent practice.
