I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade this year. My name is Nicole Renio and this is my ninth year teaching here at Fulton. I grew-up in Northern California in the San Francisco Bay Area. I received my Bachelor’s from San Jose State University in 1997. My Master’s was completed at New Mexico State University in 2002 and my second Master’s was finished in 2010 in Elementary Education from the University of the Cumberlands, Kentucky. You’re never too old to learn!!
I have four busy children (Pierce 20, Phoebe 17, Ridge 14, and Callaway 12). Three attend Chandler schools and are involved in many events around town, so you may see me outside of school sometimes in your neighborhood either shopping or watching them play sports. My oldest is now attending ASU studying Computer Science and my three others are at Basha High/ AMS.
Since moving to Chandler about ten years ago, I have come to love this area. My hobbies include playing soccer, watching movies, swimming and being physically active in general One of my favorite things to do is compete with my Rhodesian Ridgebacks at dog shows. My family loves the San Francisco Giants Baseball Team and we try to watch them when they are in town for Spring Training and against the Diamondbacks. Tennis, track, and outrigger canoeing are big sports among my crew at home. I love watching my kids participate in these events and I talk about their adventures in class all the time
I look forward to working with this new group of sixth graders. We have many things planned that will be challenging for them and also create wonderful memories. Let's get started!!
