    Welcome!

    Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Brenna Kapis and I can't wait to start the year and get to know you and your family! I live in Chandler and I'm even a Chandler High graduate. My husband and I have 2 boys, one is a senior at Hamilton and the other is a sophomore at ASU. I am very excited to get this year started!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my bachelors degree from ASU in 1998. I have previously taught first and fourth grades and have also completed several long-term substitute positions at Fulton.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe my role as an elementary teacher is to nurture and encourage the lifelong learning of my students. Through hands-on activities, classroom discussion, and even the use of humor, I hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their natural curiosity. I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day.
