    Welcome!

    Welcome to 5th Grade!! My name is Amy Romero and I am very excited to be a part of the Fulton Family! This will be my second year at Fulton Elementary!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated in 2012 from Adams State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, and in 2016 earned a Masters in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. I taught 5th grade in Colorado for 10 years, and am excited to continue here at Fulton. When I was born, my Dad was in the Air Force, so I moved around a lot! I lived in New Mexico for many years before my family and I moved to Colorado. I have been here in Chandler, AZ now for a year, and it feels like home!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that building positive relationships is the foundation for success. Each child is a unique individual who needs a caring, safe, and engaging atmosphere in which to grow and reach their fullest potential. I aspire to be a teacher who instills a love of learning in all my students.
