NOTE: all races will start 10 minutes after the last participating school arrives.
Running Club will begin on Monday, November 13, 2023. Our last practice will be on Monday, February 5, 2024. We will practice once a week on Monday mornings from 7:30-8:05. Children need to enter the playground from the East gate by parent drop off. Gates will open at 7:25 am. Your child may bring a breakfast or purchase one after practice for $2.25 to eat in the cafeteria.
Cost is $10 which will be assessed through the parent portal. The price includes all practices and 4 races. In addition, your money is used to pay for race day supplies (cups, caution tape, cones, fresh fruit, ribbons etc.), race day set-up and administrative fees.
All of our races are held at Snedigar East Park. Each race will begin between 3:30-3:45. It really depends on when all the participating schools arrive. Each race will end after all the runners have finished. A safe estimate for the finish time is around 5 pm. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st through 5th place in each grade level for each gender the next day at individual schools. Parents are required to transport their child to and from the race site. Parents are not allowed to run with their children during the race. If you have any questions, please contact me.
T-shirts are no longer available to order. The vendor has closed the website so we can get them printed before our first race.
If you ordered a t-shirt, your order will be picked up by the PTO and distributed at Fulton no later than November 27th.
