I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade this year. My name is Nicole Renio and this is my ninth year teaching here at Fulton. My passion is to teach kids about ancient history and how to write amazing papers!!
My Education and Professional Background
I grew-up in Northern California in the San Francisco Bay Area. I received my Bachelor’s from San Jose State University in 1997. My Master's was completed at New Mexico State University in 2002. My second Master's was finished in 2010 and is in Elementary Education from the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky. I've moved around a bit! I guess I like school.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports positive thinking, and invites the sharing of ideas.
