Dear Soon-to-be Kindergartner and Families!
Welcome to Kindergarten at Fulton! My Name Is Nicole Courtney, and I Will Be Your Child’s Teacher This School Year! I Am so Excited for Your Child to Be in Our Class This Year! This Is My Second Year Here at Fulton. I Hope You and Your Child Love It As Much As I Do! I Hope That Your Summer Has Been Enjoyable, Filled with Many Fun Adventures! I Look Forward to Hearing All About Your Wonderful Adventures in the Coming Weeks, Sharing My Adventures and Creating Our Own Learning Adventures and Discoveries Too!
I Am Excited About Getting This Year Started. I Have Been Teaching Kindergarten Since 2013. I Have a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I Moved to Arizona 4 Years Ago and Love the Heat! I Have Two Beautiful Girls. Savannah Will Be in Third Grade and Alaina Will Be in Kindergarten with Us This Year!
I Invite You to Come Meet Me and See Our Classroom at This Year’s Meet the Teacher Night on Monday, July 17th from 5:00pm – 5:45pm. Your New Room Number Is A4. Our Classroom Is All Set up with Exciting New Things for You to Learn, Do and See.
Please Bring $20 to Meet the Teacher to Purchase Your Kindergarten Shirt and Take-home Folder. Plan to Wear Your New Kindergarten Shirt on the 1st Day of School!!
Attached Is a List of School Supplies That You Will Need for Kindergarten. Since We Will Be Sharing Most of Our Supplies, I Ask That You Please Do Not Put Your Name on Anything You Bring. It Is Also a Good Idea to Bring Your School Supplies with You to Meet the Teacher so Your Backpack Will Not Be Too Heavy on the First Day of School.
My Goal for Your Child This Year Is for Him/Her to Truly Begin to Discover the Love of Learning and the Excitement and Joy of Knowledge and Success. I Want to Show Him/Her That Learning Is Fun and Give Them the Gift of a Solid Foundation for a Successful Educational Career! I Encourage You to Become Involved in Our Learning Discoveries and Adventures As Well! We Will Have Many Opportunities for You and Your Family to Join Us at School and in Our Classroom. We Are in This Together! Read to Your Child Nightly and Ask Him/Her What He/She Has Done in Our Classroom of Discovery and Learning. I Look Forward to a Wonderful Year with You and Your Child!
