    Your child will receive one of the following assignments for spelling homework.  (Click on the name to see an example)
     
    Bridge Map
    Write the word in syllables on top, then write it again underneath.  

    Brace Map 
    Write the word, then break the word into syllables   

    Tree Map 
    Categorize your spelling words by the number of syllables   
     
    Write the word in syllables, then write it two more times in your best cursive
     
    Use the point value given for each letter to determine the value of each word
     
    Use the given keypad to write the text code for each spelling word
