    Welcome to Sanborn Elementary! I am excited to be your Counselor and I look forward to a wonderful year working with the students, parents, and staff.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated with a B.A in Special Education from Arizona State University.  I earned an M.A. in Counseling from Northern Arizona State University.  It is an honor to be working in the Chandler Unified School District.  Before coming to Sanborn, I taught at Bogle Junior High and Shumway Elementary.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Every child is unique and valued. Providing students with a positive and safe environment in which to learn is critical to a student's success. Understanding the unique individuality of each student enables us to focus on their specific needs. Encouraging open and respectful dialogue enhances learning and the exploration of new ideas.
